Mark III Asset Management, Inc., together with TriVel Construction, have successfully completed the acquisition of 2415 K Street, a single-story office building built in 1969 totaling 6,240 square feet located in Midtown Sacramento. The building will serve as the future headquarters for both companies - Mark III Asset Management and TriVel Construction.

Based in Sacramento, Mark III Asset Management originally operated under the broader Mark III banner alongside Mark III Construction, Inc. The firm now operates independently as a privately owned commercial real estate firm with a focused strategy of investment, development, and management of industrial, office, self-storage, and retail properties throughout Northern California and Central Valley. The firm is led by its partners - Jennifer O’Brien Cooley and Mark III founders Mark O’Brien & Tim O’Brien.

Previously occupied by the California Optometric Association, the property is currently vacant. Plans for the building include interior demolition and construction of new office improvements, façade updates and general site enhancements to the existing building. Mark III Asset Management will be relocating from its current location at 5101 Florin Perkins Road, which it has shared with its sister company, Mark III Construction, for fifty years. The K Street location affords Mark III Asset Management to begin its next chapter of growth in a new location best suited for its core business strategy - the development, investment, and management of commercial real estate. 2415 K Street was selected for its centralized location to the firm’s portfolio of properties under management, convenient access for the firm’s partners and team members, and to provide a vibrant, amenity-rich environment to work in. Establishing a presence in Midtown Sacramento also creates more opportunities to connect face-to-face with prospective clients and commercial real estate brokers.

For TriVel Construction, the office will plant a flag in the region, where they currently work with other commercial property management and development firms ranging from private local landlords to large institutional corporations performing general construction and project management services, including tenant improvements and ground-up construction. TriVel is relocating from its current office in Elk Grove to a larger and centrally located location.

The buyers were represented by Bruce Hohenhaus, Chris Schwarze, and Jessi Muljat with Cushman & Wakefield in the transaction. Ali Nadimi with Newmark represented the Seller.

The firm is led by its founder and President, Silviano Velazquez, where he and his experienced team have proudly served the Sacramento area for more than 20 years, with the company operating under its own banner for the last four years.
